The photo shows the hold-down and release mechanism for a satellite's antenna boom. What makes the design so special is that it not only has to withstand the tremendous strain during the launch phase, but also reliably release the satellite boom in orbit.
Manufacturing the mechanism and implementing appropriate QA measures takes a high level of expertise, luckily an area in which we excel.
